I was soul searching last week when I was asking the whys but mainly from a negative perspective.I wanted to be alone with Jesus.I wanted to ask him the questions,I was going to look for a quite place where I would have intimate moments with him.But I also realized that instead of asking the questions it was better to praise him,because he still remains God,whether things are good or bad.
Thanks to the link up party I attended last week,I came across this post by Debbie Williams in which I started asking the whys from a positive perspective
Why did the Lord save me at a tender age,molded me,trained me and has been using me for his glory?If it weren’t for salvation,I would be in a bad shape now,maybe dead spiritually and physically.But thank God that he had a wonderful plan for my life.
Why has the Lord allowed be to be in perfect good health for this long?There’s nothing special I have done more than those who have died of sicknesses.Its only the mercy of God that has brought me this far.
Why has the Lord given me peace of mind?I needed peace and of late I can see that the Lord has brought peace in my life in his own ways.
Why has the Lord given me the family he gave me,the friends I have,the work I do?Why has he favored me?
So why me Lord?
I fell in love with this song as I read Barbara’s post.It was really nice discovering this song,I had never had of it.
I thank God that he loves me.He has chosen me and adopted me as a daughter,that’s why I enjoy special privileges here on earth.

Great post! I have often thought this…with all the millions of people on the earth why was I one of the fortunate ones to hear about Christ and accept Him?…I’m just a little nobody. lol

I am always thankful when I think of the Lord because without him I don’t have anything. I won’t have a sense of peace but He gave me the very reason to always be thankful and that’s life. He gave me life to be with my family and to spend another day in his paradise. I know it always isn’t easy to feel this way when life gives us curveballs but at the end of the day, we are all in good hands with the Lord.
