Welcome to the second week of studying the book of Romans. We are reading through the Bible, one chapter a day, five days a week.
I have decided to post these resources because our leader Courtney Joseph is on a break, please read http://womenlivingwell.org/2017/04/walking-faith-future-unclear-whats-next-gmg/ She used to post the resources and I used to have an easier time going to her post and picking them up,then I would share in my group. You might have noticed that I didn’t post discussion questions for 2 Samuel, but I tried posting the memory verses.I also didn’t post discussion questions for Romans 1-5.I think it will be easier for me posting them here on the blog.
Another reason for doing this is that it is good for us to have them early.Once in a while depending on different circumstances I might not be online and may not post anything at all.
I would not have done these without help from the Good Morning Girls, leaders and team.It takes so much time and zeal to prepare these resources. To the girls who made them available, thank you so much, and God bless you.
Here is this week’s reading plan,
Here are the memory verses. You can print them out and hang them on your doors, above your mirrors,or somewhere conspicuous.
Deuteronomy 18-21
18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.
Here are the discussion questions for this week.If you are not in a group, you can invite a friend or your family to discuss these questions:
God bless you everyday as you seek Him through His word.Feel free to make a hot cup of tea/coffee/chocolate and enjoy.
Stella.
The journal below is highly recommended, though its optional.
When studying your bible you may want to highlight using the following colors. At Good Morning Girls,we have meanings for different colors. We recommend this practice, because as you highlight, you spend more time in the word of God,thus you meditate more and the word is able to stick in your mind.
These are the highlighters I use:
